അതിരുവിട്ട ഓണാഘോഷത്തിന് അധ്യാപകന്റെ ശകാരം; റെയില്‍ പാളത്തില്‍ വിദ്യാര്‍ഥിയുടെ ആത്മഹത്യ ഭീഷണി, ഓടിച്ചിട്ട് പിടിച്ച് പൊലീസ്

കോഴിക്കോട്ട്: സ്‌കൂളിലെ ഓണാഘോഷം അതിരുവിട്ടതില്‍ അധ്യാപകൻ ശകാരിച്ചതിന് ആത്മഹത്യയ്ക്ക് മുതിര്‍ന്ന പ്ലസ്ടു വിദ്യാര്‍ഥിയെ രക്ഷിച്ച് പൊലീസ്. കോഴിക്കോട് വടകരയിലാണ് സംഭവം. വെള്ളിയാഴ്ച ഉച്ചയ്ക്ക് 12.30-ഓടെയായിരുന്നു ആളുകളെ ആശങ്കിലാക്കിയ സംഭവങ്ങളുടെ തുടക്കം. ഓണാഘോഷ പരിപാടികൾ അതിരുവിട്ടതോടെ അധ്യാപകര്‍ ഇടപെട്ടതിന് പിന്നാലെയാണ് പ്ലസ്ടു വിദ്യാര്‍ഥി സ്‌കൂളില്‍ നിന്ന് ഇറങ്ങിയോടിയത്. ഇതിനിടെ കൂട്ടുകാരെ വിളിച്ച് ആത്മഹത്യ ഭീഷണിയും വിദ്യാര്‍ഥി മുഴക്കി. സംഭവം പൊലീസില്‍ അറിയിച്ചതോടെ ടവര്‍ ലൊക്കേഷന്‍ പരിശോധിച്ച് അന്വേഷണവും ആരംഭിച്ചു. കുട്ടി ഇരിങ്ങല്‍ ഭാഗത്തുണ്ടെന്ന് കണ്ടെത്തുകയും ചെയ്തു. പോലീസ് സ്ഥലത്തെത്തിയപ്പോള്‍ റെയില്‍വേ സ്റ്റേഷന് സമീപത്തെ പാളത്തില്‍ നില്‍ക്കുകയായിരുന്നു, വിദ്യാര്‍ഥി. പൊലീസ് ഇടപെട്ട് പിന്തിരിപ്പിക്കാന്‍ ശ്രമിച്ചെങ്കിലും വിദ്യാര്‍ഥി വഴങ്ങിയില്ല. പൊലിസ് ട്രാക്കിലിറങ്ങിയതോടെ വിദ്യാര്‍ഥി പാളത്തിലൂടെ കോഴിക്കോട് ഭാഗത്തേക്ക് ഓടി. പിന്നാലെ പോലീസും, തുടര്‍ന്ന് കളരിപ്പടി ഭാഗത്തുവെച്ച് തീവണ്ടി വരുന്നതിനിടെ രക്ഷപ്പെടുത്തുകയായിരുന്നു. പോലീസ് സ്റ്റേഷനില്‍ എത്തിച്ച വിദ്യാര്‍ഥിയെ രക്ഷിതാക്കളുടെ സാന്നിധ്യത്തില്‍ ഉപദേശം നല്‍കി പറഞ്ഞയക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. വടകര എസ്‌ഐ എം കെ. രഞ്ജിത്ത്, എഎസ്‌ഐ ഗണേശന്‍, സിപിഒ സജീവന്‍ എന്നിവരായിരുന്നു ദൗത്യത്തില്‍ പങ്കെടുത്തത്. When the police reached the spot, the student was standing on the tracks near the railway station. The police intervened and tried to stop him, but the student did not give in. When the police got on the track, the student ran towards Kozhikode along the tracks. The police followed suit and rescued him while the train was approaching Kalarippady.
