കോഴിക്കോട്: താമരശ്ശേരി ചുരത്തിലെ ഗതാഗത നിയന്ത്രണം നീക്കി. ഇന്ന് മുതൽ ചരക്ക് വാഹനങ്ങൾ ഉൾപ്പെടെ കയറ്റിവിടുമെന്ന് അധികൃതർ അറിയിച്ചു. കോഴിക്കോട് കളക്ടറേറ്റിൽ ചേർന്ന യോഗത്തിലാണ് തീരുമാനം. ചരക്കുമായെത്തുന്ന വാഹനങ്ങൾക്ക് പ്രത്യേക ക്രമീകരണമൊരുക്കും. ഇരുവശങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നും ഒരേ സമയം ചരക്കുവാഹനങ്ങൾ അനുവദിക്കില്ല. ഒരേ സമയം ഒരുവശത്ത് നിന്നും മാത്രം ചരക്കുവാഹനങ്ങൾക്ക് അനുവാദം നൽകുകയുള്ളൂ. ഹെയർപിൻ വളവുകളിൽ സ്ലോട്ട് തീരുമാനിക്കും. മണ്ണിടിച്ചിലുണ്ടായ ഒൻപതാം വളവിൽ വാഹനങ്ങൾ പാർക്ക് ചെയ്യാൻ അനുവദിക്കില്ലെന്നും ഉദ്യോ​ഗസ്ഥർ വ്യക്തമാക്കി. ചുരത്തിൽ നിരീക്ഷണം തുടരും. കൂടാതെ കോഴിക്കോട് നിന്നും റഡാറുകൾ എത്തിച്ച് പരിശോധിക്കുമെന്നും യോ​ഗത്തിൽ തീരുമാനമായി. കളക്ടറുടെ യോഗത്തിൽ പോലീസ് ഫയർ ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥർ തുടങ്ങിയവർ സംബന്ധിച്ചു. മണ്ണിടിച്ചിൽ ഭീഷണി നിലനിൽക്കുന്ന സാഹചര്യത്തിൽ കോഴിക്കോട് ജില്ലാ കളക്ട‌ർ സ്നേഹിൽ കുമാർ സിംഗ് താമരശ്ശേരി ചുരത്തിലെത്തി സ്ഥിതിഗതികൾ വിലയിരുത്തിയിരുന്നു. മണ്ണിടിച്ചിലിനെ തുടർന്ന് അടച്ച ചുരം റോഡ് നിലവിൽ പൂർണമായി തുറക്കാൻ സാധിക്കില്ലെന്ന് മന്ത്രി ഏഷ്യാനെറ്റ് ന്യൂസിനോട് ഇന്ന് രാവിലെ പറഞ്ഞിരുന്നു. ആധുനിക ഉപകരണങ്ങൾ എത്തിച്ച് പരിശോധിക്കണമെന്നും സുരക്ഷ ഉറപ്പാക്കിയതിന് ശേഷം മാത്രമേ റോഡ് പൂർണമായി തുറക്കൂ എന്നുമാണ് കളക്ട‌ർ അറിയിച്ചത്. പരിശോധനയ്ക്ക് ശേഷം മാത്രമേ തീരുമാനം ഉണ്ടാവൂ. ചുരത്തിലെ ഒമ്പതാം വളവിൽ അപകടക സാധ്യത നിലനിൽക്കുന്നുണ്ട്. ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട അധികൃതർ ഇന്ന് സ്ഥലത്തെത്തി പരിശോധന നടത്തും എന്നും മന്ത്രി അറിയിച്ചിരുന്നു. നിലവിൽ ചെറിയ വാഹനങ്ങൾ മാത്രമേ രാവിലെ കടത്തിവിട്ടിരുന്നുള്ളൂ Kozhikode: Traffic restrictions at Thamarassery pass have been lifted.
